I think that’s just how they write their J’s — if you see “Jane” on the left and “Jessie” in the middle, there are curves at the tops of the Js as well… it’s just more pronounced at “Jasmine.”
Either that or I’m stumped.
ahaha actually I have friends who, despite their names being spelled “Jasmine” and “Jasmina,” are pronounced like “Yasmin” and “Yasmina.” I think it might be a letter quirk, like how my brother’s friend “Jesus” is pronounced “Hey-zus”
